Over the last 20 years, I have worked with 7 real estate agents (including Chuck and Cindy). I have very little that is positive to say about the first 5, but Chuck and Cindy are an awesome team. They assisted us with the purchase of two investment properties. They are highly knowledge about the local real estate conditions and have lots of helpful tips about becoming landlords. We got on much better deal on these two houses than we did with prior purchases mainly because of their excellent negotiating skills. I have known Chuck Hinton for over 26 years. I have bought a home from him in the past and would choose to use him in the future. He and Cindy are an ideal team that really compliment each other in an excellent manner. I could honestly not imagine a more knowledgeable real estate professional anywhere in our state. About 2 years ago, Chuck and Cindy were recommended to me by a friend who'd recently had a great experience with them. I decided to check them out and I'm so happy I did because they helped me find my first home, which was so much more than I was expecting and in a wonderful area. They made the whole process a snap and made the experience of buying a home for the first time a lot less scary. Both of them are very flexible and extremely accessible, so even if you work all day, they'll find time to make something work for you. I don't have family in NC, but they were truly like family throughout the whole process of finding my home. They don't push you in any one direction and are genuinely interested in making you happy. It was a great experience over all and when I sell my home a few years down the road, they've already got the job as far as I'm concerned. I love living in my house now, but when it comes time to sell it, I'm confident they'll find a buyer with a great price and I know the process with be just as nice as the first. When I make reference to my realtorS (plural), I give other the impression I have a whole team working for me. In truth, I do. Chuck and Cindy have an unusual partnership set up. This works to the client's benefit in several ways. First, with twice the realtor, the chance one of them is available when I need help seems to be twice as high. Second, they bring complimentary skills to the table, so you get the best parts of two great realtors in one package. Third, for all the important decisions--i.e., our initial consultation, our first day of home browsing, our discussion about whether to make an offer, our discussions about how to negotiate, our meeting about how to price the home we were selling, the discussion of what changes we need to make to the house, etc.--they were both involved. I really did get two great realtors for the price of one.
